Summer Shorts

My co worker came in today wearing a pair of floral print jean shorts almost identical to these;

When I saw these today, and the many times I've seen them in recent fashion print, I have to admit I was reminded of my elementary school days.  They say fashion cycles come around every 20 years or so which would put the floral print denim trend right on time.  Initially I laughed when I saw them; merely out of nostalgic amusement.  However as the day passed I found myself completely intrigued and thinking of getting a pair for myself.  I started an online search and found a few that I think perfectly walk that line of youthful innocence and playful sexy.

I even came across these with with label 'Vintage'... can't believe I'm finally at the age when my old clothes can be called vintage!

And probably my favorite find are these Free People cutoffs.  I like the large, bold print, and the distressed detail.  Just a step outside the norm for this fast growing trend.

Newest Obsession- Tom Binn!

I have never been one to wear very traditional jewelry.  Those who see me often will typically find me wearing a necklace with random trinkets like brass knuckles and safety pins, to pocket watches and sailboats.  With this preferred jewelry aesthetic I must admit that I have recently become obsessed with Tom Binn Designs.  All the pieces below are currently featured on his website, and I swoon over them all.

And although this one is a bit flashy for me, I adore how tangled it is!!
