Thoughts of June: Who?

Hi there, I'm Allison June!

Simply put, I am a mass of contradictions. I love to travel, but despise flying. I'm infatuated with the beach, but can't stand the feel of sand on my skin. Have a true admiration for live music, but hate being in a crowded music venue. The list goes on, but above all I stand by my opinions... and I have lots of them!

After growing up in Houston, TX, I relocated to central Austin and have thoroughly enjoyed the time I've had here. I've spent the majority of the last 6 years traveling extensively soaking up as much culture as I possibly could and hope to never stop doing so. I have a degree in Fashion Merchandising, certification as an Image Consultant, and am the Owner / Event Coordinator for A Simple Soirée Events. That being said, I thrive on the aesthetic in life, most notably through personal style.

After spending a few months abroad in the fall of 2010 attending the Paris Fashion Institute, and interning for multiple shows during Paris Fashion Week, my idea behind Thoughts of June was born. It has been through many transformations in it's short lifespan, but the desire for change is always a constant in my life. Probably one of the main reasons why fashion has always been close to my heart as it never stays the same, nor will anyone ever fully understand it... kind of like me!
